Work has been crazy. I am already nearly a week into Summer semester. Over the (short) school break, we had friends in town. I have traveled 1000 miles and back. Planned and threw a baby shower. All of which was absolutely wonderful, just quick! I may need a break from my break.
Needless to say, the hubs and I were looking forward to getting into a summer routine. (Please note the past tense, and it is not even summer yet). Plans change and they can change just as quickly as they were made. The idea of a "normal routine" now seems laughable. The Big Guy had a different idea for our family. We are not exactly sure what the next few weeks have in store for us, but our new "plan" is to not have a definite plan, hold on tight to each other, and truly enjoy and cherish any time we are able to spend with our friends and families.
Change is a good thing. It keeps one flexible and alert. On one's toes, if you will. And it is constant. In less than one year's time, I will have
As time flies by me, it never ceases to amaze me that the more things change, the more they stay the same. (You didn't mind that I squeezed one more cliché into this post, did you? Didn't think so). :)
